Summer bar at Bastionen

Bastionen is Dragsholm Slot’s terrace – a special place where the history of the castle meets views of the Herb Garden, Lammefjorden and Sejerø Bay. Here, you can lean back in the summer weather, enjoy the calm around the castle and let the afternoon slowly turn into evening with something cold in your glass.

The bar is open every day from 12:00 to 23:00 during the period.

Please note: On Saturdays, Bastionen is closed until 18:30.

What to look forward to

At Bastionen, you can enjoy a selection of classic cocktails, Dragsholm Slot’s own signature cocktails and simple snacks including marinated olives, salted almonds and sea salt crisps.

The bar menu features well-known classics such as Gin & Tonic, Daiquiri, Sidecar, Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini, as well as cocktails with a clear connection to Dragsholm Slot’s own history and taste.

Dragsholm Signature

A highlight of the summer bar is the selection of Dragsholm Signature cocktails – created with inspiration from the castle, its history and the surroundings we are part of.

Here, you will find cocktails such as GIN & TEA, Chocolate Negroni, Celestine, Prisoner of Bothwell and Sweet Dragsholm Martini – each with its own character and story.

One of this summer’s signature cocktails is Garden Sour, made with dark rum, lemon, egg white and herbs from Dragsholm Slot’s own garden. A fresh and aromatic cocktail where the taste of the garden becomes a natural part of the experience at Bastionen.

Surrounded by nature and history

Bastionen is located right by Dragsholm Slot and invites you to enjoy a summer pause with views of some of Odsherred’s most beautiful landscapes. From here, you can look out over the Herb Garden, where ingredients and herbs are grown with respect for the season, and further towards Lammefjorden and Sejerø Bay.

It is the perfect place for an aperitif before dinner, a quiet afternoon in the sun or a drink after a day spent exploring the area.
